3D Panorama Service on Mobile Device for Hiking
In this paper, we present a prototype for an interactive 3D panorama service. Such a service can be considered as the core of a digital assistant for mobile users like hikers and tourists. In particular, our service is based on geographical web services and non-photorealistic rendering of 3D terrains. The result is a light X3D scene which can be viewed with any X3D compliant browsers.
